Nike Kobe 9 LOW EM "Independence Day"

With July 4th around the corner, Nike has cooked up this crazy all over the place red, white, and blue colorway of the Kobe 9. The sneaker sports a milky icy sole with navy shanks and midsole, while the tongue and back have 3M hits. The engineered mesh version of the Kobe 9 low allows for crazy graphics to be placed on the shoe’s uppers. The best thing about the Kobe has been the low top aesthetic of the shoe. The recent signature shoes from his line remind me of an indoor soccer shoe. Especially with Kobe growing up playing soccer as a child in Europe, it fits the inspiration behind the recent Kobe models that have been released. Nike has been very heavy on graphics with the Kobe line and the Independence Day version is nothing short of that. This is definitely a good shoe to add to your collection.

You can find the Kobe 9 low EM at stores like on its release date of Thursday July 26th.
