On Thursday, June 13, The Hundreds will release a collaborative capsule with The Friend Bar in Los Angeles. The Friend is a must-visit mainstay in Silver Lake and just opened a new location on the westside in Venice, both great candidates if you’re looking for a new place to become a regular.

The minds behind The Friend include Jared Meisler, a legend in the LA restaurant and bar industry, former Iron Chef competitor Eric Greenspan, and artist André Saraiva. The Friend was built on a lot of real relationships, the partnership group filled with a cast of other characters that add tremendous layers to The Friend’s story, like Maroon 5 bassist Mickey Madden, DJ Mike B, and even our founders Ben and Bobby Hundreds.

The Friend features a ton of modern art, including custom pieces from Saraiva and our friend Kenny Scharf, that give the bar infinite personality on the inside and outside. The Hundreds tapped into that artistic spirit, using The Friend’s whimsical stick figure logo, hand-drawn by Saraiva, as the centerpiece of the capsule collection.

Both pieces of the collection, a graphic T-Shirt in Light Pink and an embroidered Pullover Hoodie in Black, will be available on The Hundreds App, Online Shop, and TheHundreds.uk on Wednesday, June 12th at 9 PM PST and Thursday, June 13th at Midnight EST. All pieces in The Hundreds X The Friend Collection are made in Los Angeles.

To celebrate the release of The Hundreds X The Friend, the two will join forces for a party at The Friend in Silver Lake on Thursday, June 13th at 9 PM, featuring performances by Alexander Spit, the Free J Boosie Trio, Cig.ext, and more.
