I have been itching for some intense black and whites, and there is nowhere better for that than the warehouse that I use as my studio. It has windows all around, so it has light all throughout the day – and a rooftop that has the best view of downtown, in my opinion. I started shooting in there about a year and a half ago and it has been the best thing that happened to me. I really learned using natural lighting there, and also established a black and white “style” that I could use as a part of my brand.
So I asked Rachel if she’d be down for a Rendezvous at the warehouse and she was in. We met at Daily Dose Cafe in the Arts District for some morning coffee and breakfast, then headed over to my studio. We played around with a few outfits and played on the different floors of the building. I am stoked on the results! They are exactly the kind of black and whites I have been missing. Going back to my roots… yeehaw.
