Not too long ago, my good friend Eddie told me about a great cause he was working towards with some friends, an organization to benefit the needy L.A. community through the arts. That idea turned into VIVA LA ART!, and their first event is tomorrow (Saturday) night in Santa Monica, a silent art auction with 25+ pieces from L.A.-based artists.

“100% of the proceeds of this event benefit Children’s Law Center of Los Angeles (CLC). CLC is a public interest law firm that represents almost 100% of the 25,000 foster children in LA County. These children are part of the foster system because they have faced either physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or abandonment.”
