If you haven’t already, and you’re a fan of film, you should probably watch Rear Window. The Hitchock/ James Stewart / Grace Kelly movie is about a guy who weaves together a murder mystery while confined to his apartment and looking out his window. It’s a great exercise in storytelling and perspective, and a voyeuristic social study — maybe a harbinger of things to come..

I stood in one position on my hotel balcony here in Honolulu and took a minute of photographs at 6:45pm (20 minutes ago). No murder mystery was solved, but I did get some results.
