This past Friday night, the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles was infiltrated by almost every bearded man (who didn’t already reside there), and someone’s equally-ungroomed puppy. The affair? The opening party for the multi-talented Travis Millardat THIS Gallery Los Angeles, an exhibit of comic art and illustration from the cabin-dwelling cartoonist (who also sports an impressive amount of scruff). Currently profiled on the pages ofThe Hundreds Magazine Internet Issue, Millard is the slightly-reclusive artist behind some of the coolest album covers and skate decks in the business. And if you can’t already tell, we’re serious fans of the weird and witty world he creates with tools as simple as paper and ink. While we’re on the subject, stay tuned for the release of The Hundreds by Travis Millard collaboration, now just a few days away. The countdown begins.
