If you live in the New York City area then you’re aware of the snow storm that just hit a couple of days ago. Lucky for me, I was in town for it, and got to go out with 13th Witness and the crew to capture the cold as it was happening. I was really excited for this, being that Los Angeles never sees any type of weather close to this. Usually you would have to drive a few ours out to Big Bear or Mammoth mountain for anything remotely similar. But then you would be in the woods. So mixing snowfall with an urban landscape such as this was expected to be pretty rad. We set out around 4:00 p.m. or so, and figuring that we would do mostly night shooting, I made sure to take out my Leica Monochrom. I had anticipated shooting a lot of black and white, and this camera came in really handy for those low light situations. So scroll below to check out the captures and stay tuned for some more blogging material from my recent trip to the N.Y.C.
