I Refuse to Join Any Club...

It’s often said that when a person is crafting a piece of fiction, it’s wise to remember that the antagonist is the hero in his own story. With the power of the Internet and the ease at which we can instantly consume and react to content on a 24/7 basis, it makes each and every one of us a muckracker, journalist and critic. I’ve held a variety of positions in the world of editorial – from penning pieces about pop culture, sports and music for Esquire, Details, Maxim and more – to being the staff writer for Hypebeast and an editor for High Snob. I like to think I’m well rounded; a champion of what is not only is good, but is good and perhaps overlooked. In a perfect world, something I write about blends multiple fields of interest and is both accessible yet challenging.

I’m looking to bring a unique approach to all things movies, television, music, sports and fashion. Groucho Marx famously once said, “I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member.” I suppose with the Internet, we’re all a part of one.
