The Hundreds presents the third installment of Hanksy’s “Surplus Candy” – in which he explores the street art and graf of the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. In this episode, Hanksy unpacks the rising popularity of the craft over the past couple of years – what happens to street art in a city that’s embraced it for the past 3 decades? With the help of Squarespace, Hanksy talks to paper cut-out artist Joe Boruchow, a “yarn bomber” named Ishknits, an anonymous trickster named Kid Hazo, who installs realistic-looking street signs, and more.
