My name is David Rasool Robinson and I help run a small boutique in Chicago called Saint Alfred. Besides my Saint Alfred duties I’m also a freelance photographer. Chicago is a complex and very diverse city, the people here are hard working and proud of where they’re from. Many of the views given on Chicago that I’ve seen are made by people not from here and the negative aspects are usually played up by the media for shock value. While things like that do go on here, the city also has many other things to offer. A rich history of culture, art, music, sports, design, architecture, food and style. I plan on touching on all of that and more in the section I’ve been given. I feel extremely fortunate to be able to make a living doing two things I’m very passionate about and no two days are alike. Both the shop and my photography have allowed me to meet people from a variety of backgrounds and have allowed me to further broaden my view on the world.
