CULTURE COLLIDE

CULTURE COLLIDE

Has it been a while since you’ve caught any live music from a band that isn’t missing several original members and reuniting after two decades for a massive payday? Are you beyond bored of seeing that same Monday night residency at your local bar with the sticky floors and budget sound system? Fortunately for you, that’s all about to change (except there will still probably be some sticky bar situations up in the mix, but that’s just called living, you know?) This Thursday, October 10 – Saturday, October 12, FILTER Magazine’s Culture Collide Festival comes to Echo Park, bringing with it standout musical acts from all over the world, including Rhye, Bleached, Raveonettes, Iza LachLiars, The Men, Miami Horror, and so many others whom I’m not even remotely young or cool or worldly enough to know about. Culture Collide is just a day away, but you can still snag your wristbands for just $30 (must be 21+), which will grant you access to all general shows (pending capacity). To put you in the mood, here are some tunes from a few of the bands we’re pretty excited to see in our hometown. View the full schedule here.
