Cameron and Mikiala have the day off, so like most local kids, headed to the beach. Mikiala stocks beer at Foodland, even though he’s only 18 years old. He swears he’s never boosted a bottle.

The surf’s small and can’t be bothered. Whatever, this isn’t really the beach for that anyways. The sets are unpredictable, irregular, like 1.0 aftershocks on a seismograph.The fellas still managed to find fun, throwin’ bodies, skimming, catching eyes from gidgets, gingerly nursing tallboys on the beach.
