OFF! is quite possibly the coolest supergroup in the world: Keith Morris (Circle Jerks, Black Flag), Steven Shane McDonald (Redd Kross)(pictured), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket from the Crypt). You pretty much don’t have to listen to any of the music to know it’s gonna be awesome. Fortunately, it’s beyond.

55 years and no apologies, Keith Morris gripped the audience with the best live performance of SXSW 2011. Literally breaking down in tears while screaming through a tribute to a friend, charging through songs like a bulldozer, some things get so much better with age. Gives us all hope that you can be cool forever.
