So if there was an award for Best Store Ever, Bodega would definitely be vying for that top spot. Located on a desolate street corner in Boston, Bodega’s storefront is completely innocuous..

At first glance, the shop is an actual streetside bodega. In fact, I think a good chunk of their business is actually made off of the household product purchases by the local community.

But once you walk towards the vending machine, it slides open to unveil..

Fixed is huge in Boston (gotta keep up with that NY rivalry, right?), so Bodega hooked up with Independent Fabrications to make/display some fixed bikes.

So what goes into being the Best Store Ever? Smart concept (check), Thoroughly designed layout (check), prime selection (check), and of course, customer service. The Bodega crew have got to be some of the most friendly, engaging, and knowledgable store staff I’ve ever encountered. And need I mention that they’re all fans of hardcore?..
