In 2010, collaborations between streetwear brands and cartoon characters weren’t an everyday occurrence like they are now. So, when The Hundreds landed a collaboration with Garfield and his creator Jim Davis, it was monumental. The lazy, lasagna-loving cat is up there with Back To The Future for our founder Bobby Hundreds, and Garfield his inspiration to even start drawing in the first place. In an interview with Jim Davis for The Hundreds Magazine, Bobby said, “I can’t search far within my childhood memories without running into tabby orange fur and black stripes.” This T-shirt commemorates one of the greatest projects in The Hundreds history. Besides doing the interview with Bobby, Jim Davis also drew three brand new Garfield comic strips that featured our mascot Adam Bomb. Then, we had an entire Garfield art show. And then a Garfield Pop-Up Shop with pieces from the collection and even some exclusives. Celebrate the 10 year anniversary of this classic collab by adding a vintage piece of it to your collection.
