The other day I found myself in Vernon, CA. Aside from being the new home to The Hundreds HQ, and an obnoxious (and odorous) Farmer John’s plant, I really can’t tell you what else this industrial city is known for. Located adjacent to the Downtown L.A. area, it definitely gives off the impression that you wouldn’t want to be walking around there alone late at night. But since it was still during morning hours, I figured it was safe to go for a stroll with my camera. I had noticed these desolate train tracks while driving to The Hundreds one day, and decided to go for a walk and explore. I discovered a nice stretch of walls covered with graffiti, set in a area that looks eerily like something out of The Walking Dead, and I figured it would be the perfect place to take some flicks and capture the mood of this location.
