Former head graphic designer for The Hundreds, Benjie Escobar, has a debut solo show tonight titled “Lil Jams” over at Gallery1998. For this show, his pieces were inspired by Chicano traditions and pop culture—a nod to his own heritage and a theme that has been present in his prior work.
