This Cinco De Mayo, The Hundreds is joining forces with our friends at Don Clemente for a collaboration that dates back to 1887. We’re celebrating years of family tradition with Loteria, one of the most iconic traditional Mexican card games that have left many with countless memories and tales to tell.

Every Loteria card represents a different piece of everyday life in Mexico, illustrated with beautiful pieces of art that have transcended the game itself. The game is typically played with multiple people at a table. Each player gets one board called a tabla and 16 raw pinto beans or maize to play. With a game as long-running as Loteria Don Clemente, players typically have their go-to tabla and some people even play with up to three! With lots of tables and cards, plus easy rules to follow, anyone can join in on the excitement of yelling out “Loteria!” when the tabla is completed.

Based in Los Angeles, The Hundreds has been entrenched in Mexican culture, so working with the legendary Don Clemente and the Autentica Loteria game is a dream come true. With a passion for community building, Loteria has brought millions of people together to have countless hours of fun and it is an honor to put our touch on the classic card game. We replaced the traditional “La Bandera” artwork to reflect our Wildfire Flag, added our mascot Adam Bomb, as well as some other cornerstones of The Hundreds History, onto the Loteria cards.
