A stalwart in the music industry since 1939, Blue Note’s legendary catalog spans from Hot Jazz, Boogie Woogie, and Swing, through Bebop, Soul Jazz, Avant-Garde, Fusion, and into the diverse and vibrant sounds of today. Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, and so many more have called Blue Note Records home, blessing fans with some of the finest jazz music ever.

Today, Blue Note Records keeps founder Alfred Lion’s vision and legacy alive by continuing to follow the blueprint he laid out all those years ago, that “any particular style of playing which represents an authentic way of musical feeling is genuine expression.” With a current roster that sports some of today’s most talented artists, from Robert Glasper and Norah Jones to Gregory Porter, Blue Note is sure to put out timeless records for decades to come.
