On Thursday, May 9th, The Hundreds released Delivery 1 of our Summer 2019 Collection. The entire collection is California casual through and through: laid-back, colorful classics and beach-ready easy-to-wear standout pieces that work whether you’re in the backyard or Baja.
We incorporated several new hand-made tie-dye techniques on both tops and bottoms, like on the “Yucatan” short-sleeve woven, a vertical tie-dye version of a crisp, classic guayabera shirt. Breezy allover print button-ups like the “Dotty” short-sleeve woven represent our take on Los Angeles Lifestyle, and the “Birds of Paradise” shirt comes in lightweight season-ready rayon with an abstract exotic brushstroke print.
We’re rolling out new surf-inspired yarn dyed knit T-shirts in all kinds of stripes—engineered stripes, gradient stripes, jacquard logo stripes, and more. On the graphic T-shirt end, our “Angeleno” shirt is an extremely West Coast version of a classic NYC magazine logo, with other graphics serving as commentary on smartphone addiction, youth culture, and… well, doughnuts. There’s even a shadowy and mysterious version of our mascot Adam Bomb in the release.
This Summer, we took a proactive approach to fighting the heat with our headwear. The “Active” snapback is a modern take on a classic baseball cap, done in a sweat-wicking performance fabric, and the “Dap” snapback is a trucker-style hat with allover breathable mesh instead of just on the back.
The Hundreds is taking leaps of faith and jumping hurdles all Summer, so the entire collection is lightweight and ready for whatever. Stock up for Summer starting Thursday, May 9 on The Hundreds App, Online Shop, UK Online Shop, The Hundreds Los Angeles and other select stockists.
Some products featured in The Hundreds Summer Look Book are part of Delivery 2, which will be available June 6th.
