SPRING 2024 :: Creative Director David Rivera's Debut Collection

SPRING 2024 :: Creative Director David Rivera's Debut Collection

For The Hundreds, February brings a round of firsts. The upcoming Spring 2024 Collection marks the first seasonal collection of the year, and the first collection under the brand’s new Creative Director, David Rivera. In the words of The Hundreds’ Co-Founder Bobby Hundreds, “[2024] is a hallmark year for The Hundreds as we celebrate 20 years in business. We’ve survived and thrived through so many cycles of streetwear that we’re unlocking levels that we never knew existed and few brands ever get to experience. For the last couple years, we’ve turned to our Creative Director David Rivera to plot the course for the next adventure. David is a 13-year veteran of The Hundreds, working his way up the ranks in almost every creative department in the building, studying under and alongside the greats – so you’re already familiar with his language. It’s a new age for streetwear and for The Hundreds, a chapter that will be heavily narrated by David’s design and perspective on the culture. If you want to know where we’re headed tomorrow, follow David Rivera today.”

Based in Los Angeles, David has been on a remarkable journey, documenting the ever-evolving world of streetwear culture from the unique perspective of a Latino kid who grew up around Fairfax. You can see it in the elevated athleisure sets that point back to David’s roots and the traditional workwear jackets and flannels introduced with a colorful twist. You can see a blend of these influences and touch in the photography that’s printed and dyed into the garments. Even the graphics pay homage to idyllic moments, featuring flips on the 90s to early 00s rap scene, our favorite childhood candy bars, and Springtime beverages.

“I’m grateful to Bobby & Ben for entrusting me with their platform, allowing me to share new stories and perspectives,” David comments as he reflects on the collection. “It’s not every day a Latino kid that grew up in LA gets this chance to open doors for others for a brand he grew up wearing. The melody has changed but the song remains the same.” The Hundreds Spring 2024 Collection is available now on TheHundreds.com, The Hundreds App, and selected retailers.
