THE HUNDREDS BY RON ENGLISH

THE HUNDREDS BY RON ENGLISH

With a career spanning four decades, Ron English is a world-renowned artist and recognized for his art mannerisms of combining cultural reference points of both elevated and popular nature. As a pioneer in the pop-art scene, Ron English appropriately coined his artistic style as “POPaganda” defined as art that uses popular culture as a means to spread a message or a set of beliefs through art, symbolism, and images

The Hundreds first joined forces with Ron English in 2011 for a collaboration that featured his signature characters: a human-like cowgirl, a three-eyed rabbit, and an iteration of our Adam Bomb in his grinning skeleton style. But this wasn’t the last time we worked with Ron English. The Grin Adam was a hit throughout the years and made a reappearance in the Adam Bomb Squad NFT collection as one of the rarer traits in the collection.

To celebrate two decades of street wear history, The Hundreds is honoring Ron English with another collaboration that pays tribute to his pop art. The collection features some of his signature characters from the first collaboration and bold all-over prints featuring a new character, a fawn illustrated by Ron English.

This is The Hundreds’ biggest collaboration with the artist to date, including a knit sweater, work jacket, graphic t-shirts, pullover hoodies, a trucker hat, pins, keychains, an ashtray, and a tote bag. The Hundreds by Ron English releases on TheHundreds.com and App on Wednesday, August 9th. The collaboration will also be available in-store at The Hundreds Los Angeles flagship on Saturday, August 12th.
