The official Red Band trailer for N.W.A.’s biopic, Straight Outta Compton, finally hit YouTube after giving us a taste during the Grammys and publishing a cast photo back in June. The trailer features a minute-long intro from Ice Cube and Dr. Dre themselves, driving through Compton, talking to some residents, and reminiscing their time with N.W.A. Which really just gets your blood boiling in preparation for the two-minute crescendo of fast-paced, hip-hop action.

Straight Outta Compton documents the rise and fall of the colossal rap group during the mid ’80s and their ability to revolutionize music and culture through a need for the truth to be heard. F. Gary Gray (Friday, The Italian Job) takes the helm as director of this cult-classic in the making, and stars Jason Mitchell (Eazy-E), Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre), and Ice Cube’s own son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., as his father. Straight Outta Compton is set to release on August 14, 2015 and is being distributed by Universal Studios, so you can expect to see it just about everywhere.
