Recently, with the help of UK’s independent magazine publisher and all-round streetwear guru, VNA Magazine, and Phantoms of Space, Invade TV Productions went on set for Run the Jewel’s new “Lie, Cheat, Steal” music video to bring you an exclusive behind the scenes look at the entire process. The video features some words of wisdom from the duo, El-P and Killer Mike, about how graffiti and rap are really just two elements of the entire genre of hip-hop. They also discuss the significance of this video for them personally, and how hip-hop led to this collaboration. Graffiti artists Jon 5, Sepr, and Onga also make an appearance and discuss how much music has influenced their style, as well as the graffiti scene overall. You can check out the behind the scenes look below (and below that, the actual video).
