“If your phone doesn’t say “No Service”, you didn’t go far enough.”
Those words have been popping up in my head for a while now every time I search for new sights, and they’re finally starting to stick. I love going out and getting lost. One of the best things about going out and exploring is that connected/disconnected feeling. The feeling of being connected to the outdoors, while being disconnected from distractions and vices like Instagram, Twitter, etc.
This past weekend a few friends and I drove from Anchorage to Valdez, AK, just to get out of town for a bit (I know, I know, I just did that a week ago) and see something new. The photos I took don’t do these views a bit of justice, but regardless, I wanted to share them. So put your phone down (unless you’re reading this on your phone…), and get lost in the images for a bit. Hope y’all enjoy ’em.
Shoutout to Scott and his jeep.
Also shoutout to Vito. I’ve been studying his work lately, you should definitely take a look.
Shoutout to TYK. By looking at his photos it’s hard to tell we go on the same road trips.
An old railroad tunnel that was abandoned, mid construction. Pretty ill setup for a yeti to live.
A small section of the 800 mile long Trans-Alaska Pipeline.
