The Jordan XI is one of my favorite J’s of all time. I slept on the previous pair of snakeskin lows that came out back in the early 2000s. I prefer low tops over mids and highs (one of the reasons why I love the Kobe line) and the use of animal prints on shoes is one of my preferred types of leather and patterns to have on sneakers. I definitely think this pair is much better than its close cousin from back in the day – the snakeskin actually looks and feels like real snake. The green color used for the snakeskin contributes to how real the snakeskin looks. The thick, black ballistic nylon mesh upper and volt hints on the tongue and heel bring everything together very well. And I can’t forget the icey sole…
