This week, The Hundreds is teaming up with Jason Seife for a collaboration that celebrates tradition. The world-renowned painter and digital artist has become synonymous with his beautifully intricate depictions of classic Persian rugs, with his own personal touch. Now, Seife will lend his one-of-a-kind style to an entire The Hundreds collection, including his own take on the brand’s iconic Adam Bomb mascot.
Growing up in Miami, the son of Cuban and Syrian immigrants, Jason Seife’s heritage shines through in every piece of his work. Persian carpets were a major part of his upbringing and recreating the stunning weavings in a wide variety of different mediums has allowed him to both honor his family’s history and challenge himself artistically. The creation of these works is both a therapeutic and a spiritual process for Seife as he channels his obsession with detail into the geometry and compositions of the carpets, working hours-on-end without lifting his brush.
The Hundreds by Jason Seife collection will include cut-and-sew and printable pieces, matching the intricacy of the work the artist has become known for. Two stunning Jackets lead the way, worthy of being hung on the wall or worn to work. Graphic T-Shirts and Pullover Hoodies will be included in the collection, as well as a 500-piece Puzzle and a collectible Sticker Pack.
