Jay 305 is no stranger to being the bad guy, but he delves deeper into his own psyche in the eye opening short-film based on his Inner City Hero mixtape of the same name. Taking inspiration from the songs featured on his project, Jay takes viewers through the turbulent life of young people growing up in South Central. The 11-minute long feature is equal parts apocalyptic, visceral, and shocking—providing a harsh, yet truthful commentary on police, gang violence, and poverty in Los Angeles’s ghettos.
