The Hundreds X Howlin' Ray's Charity Fundraiser Recap

The Hundreds X Howlin' Ray's Charity Fundraiser Recap

Whats better than Howlin’ Ray’s? Howlin’ Ray’s with no line! Big thank you to everyone who came out to our Holiday Fundraiser with our friends at Howlin’ Ray’s. Spirits were high and the food was delicious. To top it all off, almost 300 people came out and raised money for the Thomas Fire Fund to help the people of Ventura and Santa Barbara who were affected by the fires. Beautiful things happen when we work together.

Attendees got to skip the usual 2+ hour line for an exclusive time slot for Howlin’ Ray’s famous Hot Chicken Sando and a The Hundreds X Howlin’ Ray’s long-sleeve. Photos below by Paolo Fortades.

Howlin’ Ray’s is known far and wide as the LA destination for Nashville-style hot chicken. The restaurant is known for its Hot Chicken Sando and the throngs of fans that line up daily for a taste. Since 2015, Johnny Ray Zone and his wife Amanda Chapman have been sharing their love for Nashville hot chicken with the denizens of Los Angeles; they started out as a food truck, and soon opened the wildly popular Howlin’ Ray’s storefront in mid-2016. They’re loved the community and similarly revered by leading food critic Jonathan Gold as “excellent fried chicken” and by James Beard Award-winning journalist Besha Rodell as “the best fried chicken sandwich in town.”
