The Hundreds is proud to announce the release of The Hundreds Socks by Christina Paik, available Thursday, October 19, at The Hundreds flagships and Online Shop.
Christina Paik is a renowned modern film photographer whose work plays in an intersection between portraiture, style, and experimental photography. Based in both New York and Paris, Paik is known for her distinct fashion portraits and elevated streetwear aesthetic; more notably, through her stylized work with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White, it’s consistently evident that her vision for shooting values people over clothing. Paik told The Coveteur earlier this year: “I just like to take photographs of moments and try everything else I can to make the culture into something that has depth and value besides the ‘hype’.”
One of our brand mottos here at The Hundreds is “People Over Product.” We’re proud to come together with a kindred spirit and distinct voice in streetwear for our The Hundreds Socks by Christina Paik capsule collection. The collaborative socks come in 3 colorways, featuring our “Simple Adam” logo and “CP” logo; the orange/royal blue colorway is a nod to Christina Paik’s love for the New York Knicks.
“This collaboration with The Hundreds represents many elements of who I am. The colorway represents my home of New York, the logo comes from Paris, and it’s all brought together by The Hundreds, bringing it back to the culture.”
