We threw a champagne rager at The Hundreds New York (96 Grand St.) last Friday to celebrate the onset of New York Fashion Week. With all-black suggested attire and complimentary champagne from Luc Belaire Rosé, we had GRND’s own DJ CCNY (@djccny) and DJ Sammy Needlz (@DJSammyNeedlz) providing the music. “Christian and I were just seated on the stoop last week Wednesday and remembered that Fashion Week started on Thursday. We quickly remembered the party we threw the year before and how awesome it was… Within 24 hours we had the event well-planned and all that was left to do was to sit back, post the flyer everywhere, and wait for the people to come – and come they did. We had @StatikSelekt in the building, @blackdave was around, and many other homies from other streetwear flagships and some of our close friends and family in attendance. It was a great event with a perfect turnout, and the quickness and precision put into planning this Fashion Week event leads me to believe that we as a store can plan under the radar events like this for any New York-themed event in the future.”
