Behind the Design :: Winter 2024 Collection Graphics

Winter marks the end of the year, representing a time for reflection and transformation, a message the Winter 2024 Collection conveys across a series of t-shirts and cut-and-sew items. The Winter 2024 graphics in particular pay tribute to the lessons learned and the journeys taken, highlighting the idea that change is inevitable– all printed on a new 7.05 oz 100% cotton t-shirt blank solution. This collection of graphics captures the essence of the past while looking forward to future endeavors. Each piece honors The Hundreds’ history, including a nod to the iconic mastodon mascot, which reminds us that understanding our origins is a crucial part of charting a path forward. The collaboration also includes artwork from artist Sob Story, bringing a touch of nostalgia to the collection by incorporating an airbrush design.

The Winter 2024 Collection celebrates continuity, growth, and the endless possibilities that lie on the horizon. The collection is now available at The Hundreds Los Angeles flagship store at 501 N. Fairfax Ave and through The Hundreds Online Shop. If you haven’t already, download The Hundreds mobile app. Day one supporters know it’s the best place to snag exclusive deals and content. So without further ado, read below for a dive into the Winter 2024 Graphics.

DEAD SLEEP T-SHIRT

Los Angeles-based artist Sob Story developed the character he used for this collaboration by challenging himself to work with a new palette. This self-issued challenge led to a design that embraced a less aggressive style from his previous work. Read the full interview with Sob Story here.

FAIRFAX BAR T-SHIRT

Nothing compares to the comfort of home. Whenever the pangs of homesickness start to creep in, take a moment to glance at this graphic that features the address to The Hundreds flagship, in case you get lost on your way. After all, a man can only run so far around the world before he starts heading back home.

FINITE CHAMPS T-SHIRT

Honoring the past championships of the purple and gold. Raising a banner into the rafters is not the conclusion of the journey; a new season is always on the horizon. Each banner represents a story of hard work and triumph while also reminding us of the passion and dedication that will drive us forward.

ICED OUT T-SHIRT

This twist on the classic bar logo takes inspiration from ICEE. Founded in sunny Los Angeles in 1967, ICEE has become the ultimate refreshing drink for staying cool in the summer. However, with LA’s warm weather year-round, there’s never a wrong time to enjoy an ICEE.

SWIMMING TIGER T-SHIRT

Tattoo culture has often inspired graphic flips from The Hundreds. This tradition continues with the release of the Swimming Tiger, a design that pays homage to the classic aesthetic of vintage sailor tattoos. These tattoos, often characterized by bold lines and vibrant colors, capture a sense of adventure and nostalgia, reflecting the spirit of the open sea.

THE OG T-SHIRT

It’s appropriate for the mastodon mascot to appear in the winter collection, as this prehistoric creature was a giant of the last Ice Age. The OG T-shirt also references a well-known West Coast classic.

TOUR OF FAIRFAX T-SHIRT

If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all. The Tour of Italy has been flipped in a way only The Hundreds could achieve. The slant logo has been stylized to evoke the feeling of the Italian eatery, and it’s all done without the breadsticks.

TWACKED T-SHIRT

The design features a vibrant and whimsical caricature that captures the essence of old-school rave culture. This playful character is adorned with bright colors and an inviting expression, serving as a warm welcome into the underground.

WISH YOU WERE HERE T-SHIRT

Season’s Greetings! From the not-too-distant future where cybernetic organisms reign supreme. The graphic could also double as a sick heavy metal band album cover.
