This Spring, The Hundreds invites you to go outside, breathe in all the fresh air you can, and hit the ground running. After a long hibernation, civilization is back. Gone are the weekly showers and only having to look good from the neck up on video calls. No, this is The Reawakening, the return to what once was. Smell all the flowers, let the wind comb through your hair and take a picnic in the park, because Spring is here and The Hundreds is ready for new growth, in every sense of the word.

Bright, bold, and uplifting colors give this collection life, ready to make you feel great and stand out in a crowd, perfect for all the festivals you’ve been holding onto tickets for. One T-shirt even features an engineered all-over print based on a photo Bobby Hundreds took in the moshpit of a Descendents show back in the day. We gave Chuy Hartman, an incredible artist known for his live drawings of hardcore and punk concerts, Bobby’s old pit photograph, and he reimagined it in this illustrated masterpiece of a graphic. You may recognize Hartman’s work if you’re a fan, like we are, of the Baltimore hardcore band Turnstile.

If you’re trying to blend into your environment instead of sticking out, new nature-inspired artwork and prints are sprinkled throughout the entire collection to take us back to our literal roots. Even though we’re all jumping off the couch and getting on with our lives, comfort is still key, and we balance it with functionality to craft some of the most versatile pieces we’ve ever made.

Bright new Tie-Dyes, California Poppies, and an original hand-drawn cartoon flower by Bobby Hundreds evoke happiness, good luck, and the kind of positive energy we feel radiating through our community right now. The Colibri Crewneck Sweater features a stunning Hummingbird and all-over floral print on a jacquard knit sweater, Colibri meaning Hummingbird in Spanish. This is arguably our favorite piece in the entire collection and we think it may be yours, too.

Even though we’re getting up-and-Adam this Spring and emerging from our collective slumber, we still want to stay cozy as we go out and experience all these new things. If you’re a longtime fan of The Hundreds, you know that we design our Sweat Sets to be comfortable yet functional, just as perfect on the couch as they are on a cross-country flight or casual Friday at the office. The new Bridgeport Pullover and matching Gower Sweatpants are crafted with a beautiful patchwork of brushback fleece panels in three amazing colorways.

Graphics from our Spring 2022 collection feature new Adam Bomb flips, nods to our favorite era of pop culture, and yes, more dark cynicism. Come for the pop of colors and funny pictures, stay for the existential dread.

If you’ve been paying attention to the past few seasonal collections, you have noticed we’ve been imagining our mascot Adam Bomb in the distinct styles of some of our favorite artists throughout history, from Monet and Van Gogh to Picasso. In this collection, Adam gets the post-impressionist treatment with a flip of French painter and printmaker Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who was prominent in the late-1800s.

Our Wildfire Flag logo decided it was MORPHIN TIME this Spring and reemerged as a crime-fighting ninja teen in a skin-tight bodysuit and motorcycle helmet. We weren’t sure if we could legally say Power Rangers but oops we just did.

We’ve been dreaming of Spring Breaks of yesteryear, filled with trips to a certain bar in Cancún where the tequila was flowing and the bouncers had a very open-minded approach to the concept of “age” and “laws.” This graphic reimagines the infamous souvenir T-Shirts from that bar, but in the year 2028, when the world is crumbling around it and everyone just wants to party one last time before the end of the world.

The Skin graphic is based on the 2013 Jonathan Glazer film Under the Skin starring Scarlett Johansson. The film follows an extraterrestrial who is disguising itself as human in an attempt to coexist. In the end, after being chased, beaten, and burned, the alien removes the skin to reveal its actual form. This graphic carries an ongoing theme for our Spring collection: the end of the beginning.

A classic flip on the LA sauce brand, El Pato, known for its jalapeño and tomato sauce. We replaced their duck mascot with our California condor and changed the setting to a desert, complete with yucca palm trees.

There are many more cut-and-sew pieces and graphics and accessories that make their debut with the first delivery of The Hundreds Spring 2022 collection but we don’t want to spoil everything. Check back on The Hundreds Online Shop next week to see the whole collection in all its glory.
