Jordan Brand continues with the infrared treatment on the XI lows. A lot of the homies are dubbing these as the Space Jam lows... I’m sure it’s because of the all black upper and white mid-sole, but I’m not into it. I like how Jordan Brand followed the same style coloring they used for the Infrared Retro II’s they did a few months back with the speckled black grey leather heel hit. The infrared is very slight and not overbearing like they did with previous Jordans following the same color scheme. Just little hints of infrared on the middle of the tongue and the back heel hit. As always, to me, the XIs always look best with the all black ballistic nylon upper treatment. These could be my favorite Jordan XI lows to date. I am a low top guy. Especially with basketball sneakers. Low tops take away from the bulkiness of how a hi-top looks. Since Jordan has been dropping all these XI lows I’ve been debating: which is better? The Regular Jordan XIs or the Lows? For me, it’s going to be the originals. Only because of its nostalgia that it brings me from growing up with them. But what if the XIs came out originally as lows kind of like how the Kobe signature line has been from the 4-8. Would the KOBE 6 (my favorite Kobes of all time) be as dope if it were a hi-top? Doubtful, but it’s cool to think what if...
