Danner Canoe Moc – While everyone is fiending for the latest pair of VISVIM FBT, let me check out these Canoe Mocs from Danner. The Portland-based shoemaker is best known for their airtight waterproof boots, but this handsome pair of Mocs look good too. This camp-ready hiking shoes feature a suede upper that is hand-stitched to a full-grain leather rand. The Canoe Moc is set on a crepe rubber outsole and comes with a removable polyurethane footbed for additional support and comfort.

Nau Acoustic Short – With their sustainable approach to technical goods, Nau heads into spring 2015 ready to tackle men’s shorts. The Acoustic short is constructed from a stretchable polyester that is treated with DWR, and double woven for durability. The shorts come with two hand pockets, a zippered back pocket, and a hidden front compartment. There is also a double-layer seat patch for the Acoustic short to accommodate those who plan on doing a day of mountain biking. Like all Nau products two percent of the proceed will go to charity, with Partners for Change being the group for the Acoustic short.

Nike Air Force 1 CMFT Lux – It looks like BUSCEMI is rubbing off on Nike because these new Nike Air Force 1 CMFT Lux looks like a goddamn purse. Using the familiar silhouette the Air Force 1 gets a Hyperfuse upper to reduce weight and a leather that has a premium dimpled pattern. The cushioning is supplied by combining a drop-in hybrid Lunarlon and the traditional Air insole. The gold hardware on the buckle and the perforation of the uppers looks as if they were inspired by the latest Louis Vuitton canvas bag. With street often blended with high fashion, I think there’s going to much more luxury-inspired kicks.

REBEL8 2015 Summer – Summer is in bloom and REBEL8 turns in some more graphic-based options. Using tattoo iconography and vintage sportswear the collection offers an extensive range of graphic T-shirts and tank-tops. There is also a nice mix of button-downs, workwear inspired bottoms, and a couple of lightweight coaches jackets. In addition to the menswear there is also a trusty ensemble of caps, belts, socks, and wallets.

MCM x Bests by Dre – With the influence of Dr. Dre and the backing of Apple Beats by Dre has the opportunity to take on another exclusive collaboration. Leather accessories house MCM uses their garish and gaudy monogram pattern and adorns it across a selection of audio devices, along with a gamut of logo-based matching cases. The collection is set to hit MCM stores this June.

Stussy x Champion – While the 76ers flourished, Andre Iguodala the NBA truly shined when Allen Iverson was at the help. Stussy remembers this time fondly with a collaboration with Champion as mesh basketball jerseys and shorts are flipped with “Stussixer.” The collection comes in black and in white and will feature the Stussy World Tour roster across the back. Look for both colorways to drop at Stussy Chapter stores this Friday, May 15.

Garmin 225 – Garmin may have been one of the first to throw a GPS into a watch, but only recently did they place a heart-rate monitor into their best selling Forerunner line of watches. The new 225 has a heart monitor developed by Mio that is supposed to be as accurate as the more reliable chest strap. In addition to measuring and relaying information about your heart the 225 can also count steps, measure distance, and share this information directly with your computer or smartphone. Look for the Forerunner 225 to drop in stores around June.

Afew x ASICS GEL-Lyte III – The Koi pack between Afew and ASICS has been widely anticipated for over a few weeks when the first teaser was being circulated. The first couple of shrouded pictures piqued my interest, but eventually it was a disappointing collaboration. The sneakers look like a general release, but Afew has done an astounding job with the delivery. Using the Japanese Bento box as the theme the presentation of the sneakers with the branded chopsticks, ‘Wasabi’ and ‘Soy Sauce’ laces, dustbag, and booklet is absolutely stunning. Look for the extensive package to drop Satruday, May 30.
