Cotopaxi – Besides existing as the stratovolcano in the Andes Cotopaxi has become the inspiration for an outdoor company in the United States. The goal of Cotopaxi (the brand, not the mountain) is to build superior outdoor equipment and selling it directly to the end user. A part of the proceeds then goes to help others in developing nations. The water bottles are named after regions of the world they will benefit. The 20 ounce India water bottle is made from durable stainless steel, vacuum sealed top, double-wall construction, and the benefit of providing 6 months of potable water to an Indian child in need. Besides bottles Cotopaxi has backpacks that use the proceeds to provide 1 – 3 weeks of schooling for a child. Cotopaxi is doing some good things, so head over and give them a look.

Undefeated x Neighborhood x adidas – The Micropacer was the definitive running sneaker of the decadence seen throughout the early eighties. Housed in this leather running sneaker was a small computer that calculated the steps taken, and distance traveled. It was a marvel when it was revealed in 1984, but it takes a backseat to the smartphones and smartphones we have now. Neighborhood and Undefeated team up to take on the Micropacer and elects to use black premium leather uppers, a look that is contrast to the flashiness of previous models. Along the quarter panel is Undefeated branding, while the lace cover shows off the five strikes logo on one shoe and the Neighborhood skull on the other.

Desk 01 – Artifox is all about minimalism, and Apple. They built the Desk 01 to match the simplistic nature of Apple’s range of products. Using your choice of maple or walnut the desk is broken down to include essentials in a clutter free work environment. The top of the desk comes with a whiteboard, and two separate charging stands for your iPad and iPhone. Housed underneath the desktop is a small compartment that is home to electrical outlets, and some additional space. There are also two hooks across the front legs of the desk for a backpack, or maybe a set of headphones. Artifox likes to think that the Desk 01 has it all, and their clever designs goes to show that they like to keep it clean, and like to keep it Apple.

Nike x Pigalle – What does the French know about basketball that they haven’t already told us in Tony Parker? Apparently a lot, because hooping is just as serious to Pigalle’s Creative Director Stephane Ashpool as the Parisian boutique teams up with Nike. The collection is starting off fairly small with Pigalle re-working the classic Air Force 1 silhouettes. The Mids are going to be skipped with the Lows and the Highs rounding out the footwear collection. The preview also indicates a couple of basketball jerseys that will compliment the classic basketball sneakers.
