Back when Fairfax was first laying it’s roots, I knew that there was the potential for something groundbreaking to take place, except for the lack of a legitimate culture. The kids with shopping bags and expensive sneakers were cool and all, but for Fairfax to create change, there needed to be cultural substance. Known Gallery provided that, and over the years has not only significantly impacted the street, and Streetwear, scene, but the Los Angeles and global art community as well. Week after week, Casey Zoltan and the team behind Known Gallery have presented some of the most influential and newsworthy art exhibitions – showcasing legendary graffiti artists to designers to fine painters.
