So you remember my Opera Gallery post a few days back, they’re also sponsoring a ginormous Ron English solo exhibition, “Status Factory,” right now, running through the end of October. This is the most comprehensive Ron English show I’ve ever witnessed, his “POPAGANDA” in full effect. The great thing about English’s work is his ability to translate to a broad audience, appealing to both the casual observer and technical crticis as well. There was so much to look at in this 3-story building, these are just some of my personal highlights.
