LONG NIGHT.

LONG NIGHT.

Earlier tonight, this was the scene on our street, as kids lined the block in anticipation of this weekend’s annual Warehouse Sale. I was wrong, the first kids actually got here YESTERDAY, which means they will have waited 2 straight nights in the rain to get to the goodies. Most people I talked to brought tents or at least umbrellas, but some were goin’ commando. I asked almost everyone if it was really worth it to sleep on an abandoned downtown LA street in the rain for some clothes, and the answer was a resounding YES. From what I gathered, most of these kids did the same for last year’s sale as well and were eagerly back for seconds.
