Up on 5th Ave in New York is the Cool Hunting pop-up shop in conjunction with GAP. We’ve been fans of Cool Hunting from its inception, considering both of our websites started in 2003. Operated by Josh Rubin and co., the site is a haven for all things hip, and design-y, and .. well, cool. The shop is only open until January 2nd and is curated head to toe by the Cool Hunting staff. It’s basically an eclectic hodgepodge of unique, tasteful goods, KINDA perfect for the Holiday shopping season. Everything from books and novelty art pieces and nostaglic memorabilia — prime stocking stuffers. Much, if not most, of the store features locally-sourced NYC product, which is an accent on the project. I dig the Tom Sachs pieces and the wiffle ball bats. Very very cool.
