This is Push. He’s a decorated artist, associated with the world famous Seventh Letter crew, and right now has a solo show up at Known Gallery on Fairfax, Divided Attention. Push has a really distinct style,.. what at first appears to be simple geometrics and mismatched shapes, is really a complicated, textured, and very involved greater work. I personally love the color palette Push works with, the brights are contained, but emphasized, by the dark black boundaries. It’s all about contrasts, and that’s the difference, quite literally.

I didn’t want to take too many photos of the work, I realized while I was in there that my camera couldn’t do the art much justice. This is one of those shows where it’s more important to see it in person.. Divided Attention has only 1 more week left, so don’t short yourself!
