CROOKS IN FERRARIS :: FOUR. FIVE. EIGHT.

Mobb Deep said it best: “Ain’t no such thing as halfway crooks.” That’s exactly the case with co-founder of Crooks & Castles, Rob Panlilio, and his Ferrari 458 Italia. I first caught sight of Rob’s 458 before this past SEMA and was instantly drawn to it. When I saw that he put the car inside their Fairfax store, I knew that it was the perfect backdrop and jumped on the opportunity for a shoot. One of the best things about modifying cars is that a car reflects the owner’s personal tastes, and by looking at this 458, you can tell he has fantastic taste. Throwing on a Super Veloce Racing kit to the car would be enough for most people, but Rob went the extra mile and slapped on some HRE Vintage Series 501’s with Novitec suspension to complete the package. The sight of a slammed 458 is pretty uncommon in the Ferrari world, and some may even call it sacrilegious, but I like to call it awesome. Love it or hate it, it’s a work of art in motion that should be given respect like any other tastefully modded car. And if you don’t like it, have fun buying your own 458 and doing it up however you like.
