This graphic borrows the aesthetics of old monster film posters that relied heavily on hand-painted imagery. The actual reference is an old Godzilla poster where we drew the typography style from and replaced with a Los Angeles skyline to represent our hometown. No better classic to represent our brand ethos than the King of Monsters.
