One of the main components of hip-hop’s DNA is and always will be graffiti. It is the visual form of the genre and one of the rawest forms of expression and rebellion. The “Writes” shirt is created by a Los Angeles OG from the legendary AWR crew, COAX, who is better known as the designer for the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are.
