THIS WAY TO CAUSEWAY.

Most of Hong Kong’s international visitors and residents tend to head towards the downtown district of Central, but when I’m here, I like to set up shop in Causeway Bay.

Some locals refer to CWB as the Las Vegas of Hong Kong, perhaps for the lights, social activity, and relentless commotion. It’s also home to some of Hong Kong’s finest shops in both the street and high-end categories, such as Juice and 8five2. We work with the I.T group out here, who runs a vast set of shops and brands in town. This particular venue has distinct rooms set up for Carhartt Europe, XLarge, and Freshjive, amongst other favorites.

Choocolate is an I.T store that has a classic Americana vibe, a la Abercrombie or Polo. Subsequently, they are involved in a double-label project with Coca-Cola right now. Buy one of their limited tees and you get a Coca-Cola x Choocolate can to go along with it.

Nike’s pushing the Tech Pack campaign hard in HK right now. The line is pretty intriguing to peruse through, clean minimal sportswear devoid of seams and unnecessary lines. Rensis Ho’s portraits are my favorite part of the entire project, in which Nike collected local Hong Kong figures who are pivotal in their communities and blew up their photos all over the city. Lee Hawk‘s got a good one!
