By Bobby Hundreds

Eating. Food. We enjoy it. We like doing it as often as possible. Sometimes, we like it so much we want to tell other people about it.

For our second BEST OF THE BEST, we rattle off our favorite restaurants/food of 2008.

BOBBY (ME): Kalbi

I once had a nightmare where the kalbi was eating ME.

BEN: Pizzeria Mozza

“Maybe the best pizza in LA. Make sure to get your reservation a month in advance!”

JON: My BBQs at HQ

SCOTTY ILL: Izakaya on 3rd.

“Yellowtail sashimi with Jalapeno.”

TONY: Any Mexican food.

“Seriously. Any.”

SWITCH: Fish Grill

“My first day at TH, Jon and Scotty took me to there for lunch. I hadn’t eaten seafood in 5+ years, so this was a big move for me. I had the salmon with angel hair pasta. To say the least, it was amazing.”

ALEX: Lucques

“The tastiest California/French fusion restaurant. Most of the dishes have ingredients you’ve never heard of and probably can’t pronounce. The hand-cut noodles with rabbit sausage or the pork belly with peaches are my favorites.”

MIKE: Mira’Le off 3rd and Sweetzer

“Try the grilled SALMON.”
