5 Performances We're Looking Forward to at ComplexCon

5 Performances We're Looking Forward to at ComplexCon

The good folks at Complex Magazine are holding the first ever ComplexCon at the Long Beach Convention Center on November 5-6, and it’s going to be the host of literally hundreds of activities, panels, and performances. We’ll also be there with a very special booth for The Hundreds fans! But before you dig into all of the events going on that weekend (which you can check out here), here’s a run down of the top five performances we’re looking forward to the most:

Ta’East

We recently profiled rising rapper Ta’East a few months ago, and like clockwork he’s on the bill at ComplexCon on the Pigeons & Planes stage. Ta’East has a ton of potential, and a very sizable amount of hype surrounding him as his performance at ComplexCon weekend will be one of his first. We’re sure he’ll do just fine, though.

Kamaiyah

There’s no question that Bay Area queen (YAAASS QUEEN!) Kamaiyah is one of our favorite new rappers of the year. We’ve been bumping her A Good Night In The Ghetto all summer, and her recent moves with YG have catapulted her to a new stratosphere in just a short time. Her performance at ComplexCon should be extremely lit—as she’s known to bring a party whenever she’s in town. Read our profile on Kamaiyah here.

Virgil Abloh

Virgil Abloh has made a career out of being one of the most progressive tastemakers in the industry, building his brand from his partnership with Kanye West. He’s bringing his talents to ComplexCon with a DJ set that’s sure to be one of the highlights of the weekend (and should bring out some very special guests, we hope). Check out how he tore the house down at our SPITSET event earlier this year.

Travis Scott

Travis Scott is sitting high and having one of the best years of his career. His latest album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, debuted at number one on Billboard, and he’s currently set to tear the house down at ComplexCon with one of his signature, raucous performances. Travis’s set is almost guaranteed to be ground zero for chaos, and we wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Snoop Dogg

In line with an upcoming, super anticipated, release that The Hundreds is planning—the choice to have Snoop Dogg on this list is a no brainer. Performing for the FIRST TIME in Long Beach, Snoop Dogg is finally going to put on for his hometown with a headlining performance at ComplexCon. This is sure to be legendary, so no one should miss this once-in-a-lifetime event.
