A couple weeks ago on a friday night I decided to head out at 11:30 p.m. to do a solo photo mission of downtown Los Angeles. I am usually running around this area wether it be to visit friends or for work, and with downtown being so photogenic I wanted to try to capture it empty and desolate. Something about the mood that a major metropolitan city like L.A. can create when no one is around. I initially had set out to get a few shots of some key locations I had in mind but I just kept going and going. I ended up on the top of the vine st. and franklin in hollywood to finish the night off and by the time I was done and looked at my watch it was 4:30 a.m. That old saying still stays true, time flies when you are having fun and I think it flies even faster when you love what you are doing.
