Beauty & Youth are once again tapping the talents of Italian mountaineering company, Diemme, for a series of luxurious hiking boots. The last round called for patent leather, but this time it is all about matching tonal suede against the beautiful white Vibram sole. The boots are a beauty to look at with the suede uppers being double stitched into the soles, and lacing is done through d-ring eyelets and a quick-lacing system. Choose between three attractive colors, and anticipate a retail that is north of $300 usd.

New York based Rogan has a new accessory and it is a conceptual leather bracelet that resembles your old favorite vintage watch. Rogan’s Timeless Watch is as much a fashion accessory as it is a statement as the guts of a watch are ripped out, and only a empty watch case is attached to the traditional watch straps. The Timeless Watch is available now and comes in either a black, and brass case with black leather straps and brass buckle.

While everyone else is on the iPad’s jock MoleSkine is crafting a journal-style reading case for the first e-reader, Amazon’s Kindle. The concept is quite simple, but the execution is what makes the Kindle cover novel. MoleSkin takes one of their leather bound journal organizers and modifies one side to hold the kindle, while the other contains a notepad. The Kindle cover allows the most astute readers to jot down notes, scribble ideas, and doodle caricatures as they flip through their e-book.

Compared to other skate brands Lakai always had a more simple ideology, and this aesthetic is emphasized in the latest Lean series for Summer and Fall 2010. Lakai is embarking on a mission to create a line of “no fat shoes”, and here they are crafting the series from dark canvas and using a noticeably slimmer silhouette. Besides the return to a more classic look the series also boast attention to detail such as the use of plaid on the collar and the woven label on the insole. Look for the Lean series to be available at your local Lakai account soon.

With the Lakers down 3-2 against the Celtics the color of green is just disgusting. But, these PF Flyers for Robert Joseph “Bob” Cousy need to be mentioned because Cousy was that dude. Cousy was the first to go around-the-back for a lay-up, and his showmanship during that era was unparallel. PF Flyers pays tribute to “The Cooz – Houdini of the Hardwood” with a special all green colorway of their popular hi-cut basketball sneaker.
