I’d like to introduce Civil Clothing who are based out of Southern Los Angeles and follow the slogan ‘The Civil Regime; Defender of the Underdog.’ Civil also describe themselves as ‘a product of the of poison and just another sign of the times in everyday Los Angeles living.’ The imagery that Civil use for their t-shirts remind me a lot of Us Versus Them in that the brand uses a very rough and raw aesthetic. Entitled ‘Civil Summer ‘09′ the brand offer a handful of t-shirts that are driven from very classic logos such as the Dead Kennedy’s ‘DK’ logo, which serves as inspiration for the LA t-shirt.
